Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Bourg to Les Arcs 1950 - March 5 - 18th :trains planes or automobiles?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
We arrive on Eurostar in BstM at ~6:30pm on the Saturday, 5th March with 2 small 'uns, 3 large, heading for 1950.

Normally we drive from the airports, so although familiar with resort / roads / mountain shuttle buses, not so sure of transfer options from the station.
Friends staying in our place earlier this season reckoned that as well as the funicular (+ shuttle bus - possibly a little stressful with 2x 3 yr olds after travelling from Waterloo maybe? ) or taxi options, there is a bus that goes from outside the train station to the ski-stations cost circa. €8 each. (although they got the funicular).

Does any know if this is indeed the case, if they would be running a this time of night, what sort of frequency, do we buy tickets on the bus or in the train station, and do they go to 1950 / 2000 or just the 1600/1800 site of the mountain? Is there a web site where I can check all these sorts of details?

Or indeed are there any other options ? (Mike Bennett and his helicopter excepted - there is a limit to the family funds Wink )
Any help and advice appreciated.

JimW, there is a bus service from BSM Gare the bus station is right next door. The website is www.autocars-martin.com where you'll find timetables etc. I believe you can book online.
