Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

gav_in59,
Speaking even as a 54 year old saddo it's not exactly jumping, nightlife wise. It has got a cracking real French style (compared to most of the others in ski world) restaurant/hotel by the the lifts 'Hostellerie du Petit Bernard' or words to that effect and a decent restaurant over at Les Eucherts, esp. for sunny lunches on the terrace, whose name temporarily escapes me but it's under the chair that goes lower down and they sell Warsteiner on draft. Just remembered, it's called L'Ancolie.

I'm pretty confident that the Spar opposite the tourist office will be open. Probably closes earlier than other days but not before the last lifts (around 5pm). Their precooked roast chickens are very good instant nosh. We'll be in there at some point I'm sure...

Going to Alpes D'huez on Boxing Day with kids, getting in a bit of practice so we can be set for Kappl at Feb half term.

Usually we go to Livigno the first week of the season, but the package we used to use, changed the dates at first, then the trip was called off.

I know someone who is there now and Livigno seems to be very busy at the moment and he says it has become the "go-to" place for a lot of East Europeans

Said we wouldnt go ski-ing twice this winter. Ahh such are good intentions!!!
