Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

boabski, No, but if I lived in the Tyrol and had that Snow Card I'd be one happy bunny! Toofy Grin

It's new this year... I've not met anyone yet who has one, but my parents are planning on buying it.
Look carefully at the list of areas it covers though - My Dad was gutted when he realised it didn't include St Anton. Still, he calmed down a bit when I pointed out how many other areas were on there, including the whole of the Zillertal.

Pretty much everything covered with a few notable exceptions: St Anton, Ischgl & Solden. They probably generate enough revenue on their own merit, perhaps.

boabski, I was thinking about buying it but have decided against it as it does not include St Anton or Sölden. I'm buying the Kitzbühler Super Ski one probably although I'm still umming and ahing about it! Got to pay out 300€ tomorrow for a new set of snow tyres Crying or Very sad which has dented my skiing budget considerably.

A lot of the resorts on it are very small and although they could probably give a good day's skiing, they are of little interest to me for trips at weekends or during the week. I'll buy a day pass when I ski the Zillertal. The Kitzbühler Alps are in my backyard so to speak so their pass is the logical one to use. It also includes the Kitzsteinhorn Gletscher so that covers most of my stomping grounds these days.

I didn't realise that it was a new development Sara - might explain why the big boys are not yet on board then

It is a pity some of the big resorts are excluded as I would be tempted to buy, as I'm heading off to Kappl and St Anton this year. Hopefully it will grow over the coming seasons

boabski, Kappl is on the list, but if you're already booked for St Anton then it probably isn't worth it.
My parents will be using it as an excuse (like they need one rolling eyes ) to ski some of the smaller areas around here that they wouldn't normally want to buy a day card for. For the past few years they have bought a Zillertal season card. This new Tirol Snowcard is €35 more than the Zillertal card, includes all of the Zillertal and lots more areas too... It's a no brainer for them really.
