Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Burton C60 Bindings

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Just impulse-bought a pair of 2008 Burton C60s from ebay. Brand new £140.
Anyone had any experience of them?
I'm on Missions at the mo, is the aggression of the C60s going to kill me?

I figured it was worth the risk as I reckon I'll probably be able to sell them for similar even 2nd hand. Very Happy

Great bindings and no they wont kill you. The response will, if anything, sharpen your inputs and make you safer.

That's a good price. The 2010 model is close to £400.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Cool, that's good to hear. Yeah I couldn't resist at that price. Just waiting for them to arrive now....

Will see how much I can get for my Missions now!

i use c60's from about 2007
great bindings, very stiff but great response and gives you soo much control flat lining
i just bougfht the latest cap straps as my new boots didnt fit the old ones that good
the only problem with mine is every time i travel i have to remove the highbacks as the stick too far over the edhe and i dont want some baggage handler breaking them

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

it's not only C60s you have to take the highbacks off for travelling - i have to spin my Missions too.

C60s aren't that difficult to ride as they're not as stiff as the beefy freeride stuff (SPX90, Jones, R8, etc). The carbon on the highback is weak and breaks when impacted so watch out for the low chairlifts.

Grill, don't see you here often.

Everyone I know with C60s has had them a couple of years. No one has broken anything. A chair lift with break off any high back.

It's not so much the highbac that's the problem, but the exposed carbon. The old P1 Carbon and Ride Migs and Teams had the same problem.
