Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Please could the great collective SnowHeads offer any wisdom on a company called SkiSchladming ?

Any feedback on the service received etc ?

The reason I'm asking is that they seem to provide an accommodation sourcing type service, but i'm a little concerned that they don't seem to ABTA / ATOL bonded ? I understand the deal is that i pay them for accommodation but i'm not sure how safe my money is etc, etc ?

Any comments to put my mind at rest would be much appreciated.

Timberwolf, If it is just accommodation, then they would not be ABTA, as that only applies to package suppliers. And ATOL would apply even less, since there must be an air travel element before that applies.

Having just looked at their site, it appears they do provide packages, rather than just accommodation. But their address is in Schladming, even though they have a .co.uk web site. So UK schemes would still not apply.

I think I roughly know who these guys are but I'm not too sure.
They do look like an accommodation provider. You can also use the search functions on www.skiamade.com to do this for you or www.schladming.com
We provide accommodation and don't have any ABTA/ATOL or any equivalent. I can fully understand your concerns. For me this is normally soothed by a few phone-calls and making sure people know that I am genuine.
I was skiing in Schaldming yesterday (and Reiteralm again!)... still a good base but I can't wait for the new snow!!
