Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Transfer from Geneva to La Plagne

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,

We're travelling to La Plagne on 06 Feb 10 and a friend of ours is flying in to Geneva the next day. As she is travelling on her own can anyone make any suggestions as to the best way for her to get from Geneva Airport to La Plagne 1800? Her flight gets in at 10am. I've checked out bus and train times but the train seems to take four hours and doesn't arrive until late evening and the busses are quite expensive and don''t indicate how long they take. Anybody else arriving that day who could share a transfer?

Thanks

olliew, the buses are expensive, but will be your best bet unless you are lucky enough to find a lift. The timetable should indicate what time they arrive? You need to book.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

olliew, have a look at www.alpski-bus.com run a service from Geneva to La Plagne , not cheap about €126 retrun, but cheaper than a private transfer.

You could look at some of the independent chalet companies and see if you can share one of their transfers.

Ski Power sell flights only, they might also do you a transfer, worth asking
