Poster: A snowHead

Ah, I missed plugging the Braehead Test despite carrying large ads for it in the mag...
Hope you enjoyed it, Those Who Dwell Near And In Glasgow.
For Midlanders like me, there's Tamworth on Wednesday evening 8-11pm and Milton Keynes on Saturday 11am-5pm - supported by Ellis Brigham and Fall Line Skiing. Tamworth starts at 6pm and I'll be there to stand around looking baffled. Susan and Kerry will be at MK. See you there...

I think they withdrew from the UK the other year, so may old ones or bought abroad, I stand to be corrected though if thats not the case.

slikedges, they aren't brought into the UK any more. There are, at the last count, 34 brands in the UK which means the smaller importers have a tough time of it.
Good to see a few folk at Tamworth last night - snow looked like it was in good condition and a wide choice of skis went out for testing.

skiwear4less keep a stock of Elan and they sell 1 in every 6 skis sold in uk (apparently) based in Carlisle with smaller outlets further south.
I found them very helpfull but admit I did not look at the Elan range.
