Poster: A snowHead

Anyone know a good site I can buy one cheapishly, I have a Monkeyman jacket and my other half has the Millet version, but my mother has fallen in love with them and so I would like to order one on the internet for her to send to England.
All advice gratefully received!

I have come up against the standard problem of finding the right thing on ebay from america, but don't want to get charged again for import taxes.
Anyone know the coup with "gifts" (Which this actually is.) and how expensive they have to be to attract the unwanted attention of HMC?

under a new name, Sadly money is an object and I refuse to compromise if at all possible, if I can buy something elsewhere for half the price why not do so?

Kaiser, Hmm. If it's just as expensive once you pay the suty seems like a faff to me. Although I suspect that it will work out cheaper to buy in the U.S. Just be careful with sizing, although as you hav a monkeyman yourself you'll know that. I take an S in all MH gear, except my monkeyman which needed to be an M
Doesn't matter if it's a gift or not, I don't think. I don't know but I expect that it'll be over any allowance. You could always see if the retailer will mark the value on the customs declaration as $1 or something? I buy from a certain Australian internet store and they always mark the value as AUD25 when in fact the items are AUD250 or so...I pay little or no duty.
I am sure HMRC has a website with the rules...

Duty limit is £16, anything under doesnt attract duty, anything over does. The rate depends on what it is. A gift makes no diiference
You can count on paying 15% VAT and around 5% duty (and remember that the postage cost is included in the price the add the duty to)

Well I took the plunge on gaybay and will have to see if I am lucky, the seller said they would mark it as a gift and of little value. Strikes me as odd that if I sent someone a gift in another country that it would attract duty: Here, happy birthday, hope you enjoy your gift and please be generous to HMC for being such sweet fellows! Mad...
