jackie marshall, through your TO might give a little discount otherwise you will have to pay full price for one of the most expensive lift passes available.

jackie marshall, no problem. There is plenty Banff information if you are looking for any more, check out the forum search at the top left of the page! If you have any specific questions there is loads of 'Banff experience' here.

The cheapest and best way todo this is book a package for around 800 pounds you can get 10 nights 8 days skiing all gound transportation. This is staying very close to downtown banff.
Banff is no more expensive than the other popular resorts in Canada, the average price for a lift ticket in Western Canada is around $70.00 CDN that is around 40 pounds. In Banff if you buy the tri-ara pass it's cheaper then buying at the resort and includes your transportation from Banff to the resorts. Oh ya it's dumping in Banff and Lake Louise

That post makes me look like an idiot, now that it is in an appropriate part of the forum.
Thanks, Yoda. Thanks a lot.

Don't know if they still do the Marmot card, but you used to be able to buy one of these (could get them from places like Safeway in Banff itself) and at Sunshine village it gave you something like the first, third and seventh day free as well as a discount somewhere between $13 and 26$ (depending on when in the season you went) every other day. Seem to be some posters at the mo based in Calgary and so I dare say they can give some useful tips on how to get the best value.
