Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

What marketing name would you give your dream ski resort?

So, you've bought the land, got permission to destroy it with ski lifts and hotels and now you have to name the area with a catchy/useless/stupid marketing moniker: what would it be?

Now, if I were in such a position, I'd call my ski area 'Orgasmanski', a la 'Paradiski', etc.

Just about sums up the best aspects of our beloved sport, don't you think?

Over to you!

Obviously my dream ski resort would have only me and a few friends in it and no pistes. It would be cheaper (and much nicer) to run a helicopter than to build major lifts.
Why would I tell you what it is called - let alone give it a marketing name - anyone might read this Puzzled. PM material only.

DisgustedofTunbridgeWells, La Rosiere got it's name because of the beautiful sunsets there, the ski area is called Espace San Bernardo.

Whatever the town is called.

Considering almost all the successful resorts all have pretty ordinary names, any "catchy" names will be ignored.

That's not how it works though, at least for resorts created ex-nihilo. A few examples:-

Le plateau des tovets -> Courchevel
Aval de Tignes -> Val d'Isere
La Morte -> Grande Serre

Ok, slight modification:

Considering most of the successful resorts have pretty ordinary names, any "catchy" names will be ignored.

Question is, did those resort that have "grand" names only become successful AFTER they change their names?
