Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone know if there's anywhere to watch it on the internet for those of us mere mortals that only have Freeview?

Thank god for that. I checked the schedule last weekend and all they were advertising was Snowboard WC. Wouldn't put anything past the muppets at Eurosport.

Renry, Thanks mate.
It was more of a kinda sports tv specific site. You selected your sport (SKiing, football cricket etc) and it told you every time that sport was on tv through the week no matter what channel. Really handy

queen bodecia, it only £3.99 per month to subscribe to Eurosport. Maybe not worth it this month as there's only Soelden but later on there are usually races most weekends. I think it's worth it. (Although actually we have Sky everything now as husband is now retired. I thought he'd do the decorating, gardening, cleaning etc but I have been sadly mistaken Evil or Very Mad .)

fastandicy,

I have used http://www.myp2p.eu in the past, has all sorts of sport,
I usually watch Everton on here Cool
Select the Live Sports tab, then go to other sport, then select the relevant day, scroll down, it should be there.
the links normally appear 5 hours beforehand.
I will try Justin.tv too

There is also this http://www.universalsports.com/
but you will need to use a proxy website if you are in the UK, I haven't used this yet. Proxy = Confused

For the last couple of seasons I have watched the skiing on German Eurosport, I moved my Sky dish to the old analogue position and bought a satellite receiver box from Maplin, but I would prefer to have English commentary.
The BBC might start showing them again, they only started coverage after Christmas though, I think? Puzzled

I shall try the myp2p website on Saturday morning, and go from there.

barry,

Some are good, some are crap

Normally have a choice of streams, they show the speed in kbps and also show which media player you will need too.

Have a go on something else that they are showing today.

Like you say, it also depends on what you get from your ISP.

Last year i was watching a stream that was 1100 kbps,
my computer couldn't cope and was showing a still and then updated every second Mad
I still had the Finnish commentary though Shocked

If the streams are crap, I may treat myself to the Eurosport subscription, it's only £4 Razz
