Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Yeah skins are rubbish and don't last very long.. Linebreak are good for the money (they also do a 3/4 which is great for skiing as it stops just before you boot cuff), if you have the money and want some really good ones the the 2xu elite are very good. As for tops the juries out on top half compression benefits, so save money and get a canterbury base layer for less.

best to try some on if you can, each brand is different but generally going a size smaller then you would think is the best option, unless you're some odd size or shape.

snowHeads are a friendly bunch.
chect2000, Snow Skins are slightly thicker than the standard with a very thin fleecy lining on the inside. Would not recommend them for anything other than outdoor cold weather use. Also don't buy the full length ones if you are going to use them for skiing as they bunch up against your socks and cause havoc inside your boots.

I now use mine for recovery for the few hours after skiing and before going out at night and would highly recommned them for that. If that is all you will use them for then buy the standard ones as you will get more use out of them all year round.

One other suggestion is to use the standard shorts underneath you long johns to get the benefit of the compression on your thighs without getting too warm.

Just to add to this I have Skins Snow leggings myself and am not that impressed. They seem to make a difference to how my legs feel but they've worn through at the groin/inside leg with just 10 days' use/washes. They're still usable but I'm not particularly happy about it.
