Mark you need to get there early as its slushy by 11am. The bottom half is like skiing on a giant wet ice-cube but not difficult if you're an intermediate. Only open till 1pm. Also, its cold up there so layers are needed.

Markw, went last Summer and SKied with Easiski. Best option as she knows where the best snow is.;-)and you get priority on the T-bars so no queueing. It didn't really get slushy until 12.30 or so and we skied until about 1-1.30. We met her in the town and she took us to get skis and boots, she'd already bought our passes, then we got the lift up, stopped at the restaurant for a coffee to adjust to the altitude, then the lesson started. Cold to start with, lift opens as early as 7am (but we met up at 8am) . A wierd feeling coming back down at lunchtime to baking hot temperature though. We'll probably do it again sometime.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

2 Alpes is one of my favourite resorts. No shortage of things to do after the morning's skiing is over in the summer. The Jandri lift usually opens at 7.30am - big queues then, with all the race teams on their way to the glacier to train. But as Helen says, you just walk past them all if you've booked private lessons with easiski.

Just a word of caution here - it's not open all summer AFAIK. When are you going Markw?
