Wayne, Happened to me last season with the Easyjet from Edinburgh - Munich. Booked it in June, got an email in September saying it had been cancelled on one day (Saturday 17th January) for operational reasons. The closest I got to an explanation in plain English was that they had something more profitable for their plane to do that day Must have been much more profitable seeing as it was a Saturday and the alternative flight we got on the Friday 16th was full up!
