I live within 30 mins drive of both MK and Hemel so could go to either Ellis Brigham at Xscape or Snow and Rock at Hemel Snow Centre. I also head up towards Derbyshire often and pop in to Decathlon nr Nottingham.
Anyone got any suggestions of other places to try with a wide selection (reasonably) local?

Last time I visited I had to wait while Colin finished off a young lady from the British ski team.

Thanks for the replies and suggestions....... seems there's really only one place to go.  and the OH can couple the trip with a visit to the god foresaken outlet centre.
Colin/CFM - I'm pretty much a beginner, gearing up for my 2nd ski trip will you have something for me - as you mentioned mid range upwards? The OH is a hell of a lot more experienced than me, so I'd imagine you'd have something for her.
