Anyone have any experience of booking last minute ski trips…and I mean last minute !
Money is proving a little tight at the moment but still want to get away. I have the time of work so literally can leave the booking until 3-4 hours before I go.
Are there any cut off points when the holiday companies drop the prices significantly? What websites (apart from iglu and ifyou) do people use for these last minute deals and…..
More importantly….Am I going to save a fortune ??!!

I have the first week in March off (well 26th Feb onwards)...but am happy to actually book on the 25th Feb !
Was thinking that I could do a 'trial run' this Friday and see what offers are around for the next day.

Let us know how the trial run goes, I have time off at Easter with nothing booked yet I was leaving it to the last minute for snow depths but cash is nearly as good a reason. Assuming with hours to go it would be a case of pick up tickets on arrival at airport, would be worth getting a fax/email confirmation. Also try teletext on the web www.teletextholidays.co.uk and TheBigFreeze not sure of address

This weekend may not be very representative it is half term and about the busiest week of the year. My guess is that there will be a lot less than most.
