Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Lifts close this Saturday 24th although some of the restaurants and bars have not quite go this message and have started their holidays early Shocked

As for the snow well it is still very very good and you can ski all the way into the village. The run down from Fornelet today was some of the best snow we had all day. La Plagne has good snow on pistes and we skied Bellecote area and from the top of Grand Rochette today - all pistes are just great still - nice soft spring snow.

Plan to ski every day this week to see the season out. I will be last one down on Saturday and arrive just in time for the village barbecue on Saturday evening.

WHAT a season and fully expect to be back next year for more of the same. Am one happy snowHead

Almost there... one day of skiing to go and looking forward to seeingcockofthenorth, perform in the snowpark. Today's conditions were not great when we wnt out at midday but tomorrow an early start should see our last runs of the season. Who'd have thought back in December that the just turned 3 year old would be skiing all over the mountain by end of season with technique that already exceeds his mother Shocked

Still an amazing season, great snow, great friends and great conditions.......... thanks to my Montalbert snowHead friends........... see you all next season or if you are around at the end of seaosn bbq tomorrow night Toofy Grin

and also to watch out for bullets Toofy Grin . He skied with Cocky home...... not a roundabout in sight though.

What a truly fabulous end to the season. Out early with Maryse and great snow and NO-ONE around. Pisted runs all the way to Roche de Mio and the best snow for a week. Met Cockahoop et al at Aime 2000 and ended up at Forperet for lunch.

That's it... season over.... and already can't wait for the next one.

The lifts are open tomorrow but we plan to finish on today's high..... NehNeh NehNeh

It was lovely on Fifty's terrace for lunch today, carafe of rose wine, pizza, sun...and it's my birthday. What more could a girl want? Seriously sun is shining and it's meant to be lovely this weekend, deteriorating Mon - Wed and then picking up again at the end of the week apparently.

All set for another beautiful day in Montalbert, once again blue skies & no clouds.
Roger C, I heard you got the apartment sorted so that is good news, looking forward to catching up for a beer when the snow starts falling. Other friends have taken the same apartment for Feb & March, so it all seems to have worked out well. Very Happy
