Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Val D'Isere-Solo traveller Scams!!!

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi there
Anyone know of any good social chalet-hotel companies which don't have many kids & don't discriminate against us brave solo travellers. Basically, just got told by one company that even though i'm paying full price & opting for a room-share option, they can't guarentee me an en-suite room because i'm sharing. Can't believe it! -I'm paying same price as everyone else but not entitled to select an en-suite by booking early as sharing with a stranger - think this is discrimination against solo travellers- cheeck of it! Anyone that knows of more friendly companies please let me know. Chrs All. Mad Sad

At least they're honest about what you'd get, but obviously take your business to a company that doesn't discriminate in this way.
What are they saying - that room-sharers are not worthy of washing?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Obviously!! ....& we must be gullible too - to pay more to get less than someone else !!!! Puzzled
I'm currently searching for other adult only chalets as I type this!!

melski, I can recommend Optimum Ski in Villaroger - ( Les Arcs ). All rooms are on-suite and staying there has always been a social event for me.

I don't know if Mark Warner are still running the Rosanna in St Anton, but of all the chalets I've stayed in that one struck me as perfect for a single. The rooms are nice (it's actually a chalet-hotel and former hotel), the location is perfect, and the food was great.

I have had great service from Finlays, see http://www.finlayski.com.

They are a medium sized copany with a few chalets in three resorts: Val d'Isere, La Plagne and Courcheval. One of their directors stays in Val for the season. He sees that the customers are happy and "the company" gets immediate feedback from customers.
