What don't you like about TO's (get it off your chest)

Wayne, forget about it mate. But do remember that of the 8 days people spend on a holiday - 6 are on the snow and it is pretty difficult to screw those up. The other two are the first and last impression we take away from the holiday. Not asking for caviar and a private jet - just not to be treated like sheep on the way to an abbatoir.

Lizzard, of course you are right... always... and the contempt you show for the pax is a positive thing which will enhance their experience. The poor proles who are actually paying for it are indeed lucky to be touched by such greatness. Twisted Evil

Hats off to anyone who wants to be a TO or a rep though, I couldn't do it.

stoatsbrother, I was a rep for Supertravel in Verbier years ago. Most clients were fine - polite and grateful for reasonable service - save for a few super-wealthy ones, who were unmitigated pants. Oh, and people who managed to get blind drunk between Gatwick and Geneva could occasionally be a trifle testing on the (luckily short) coach ride to resort. rolling eyes

stoatsbrother, the truth I tell you on here bears no resemblance at all to what I say to guests on a professional basis. Quite obviously.

Hurtle, we had one of those drunk ones once on the way back. I advised the rep to tell the check-in staff that she had a passenger who could be unfit to fly, they took one look at him and refused to let him on the plane. He spent the night sobering up at Turin and had to pay for another flight the next day. Since the bloke had been an offensive pain in the bum to both staff and fellow guests for his entire stay, we all thought this utterly hilarious.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I think it's funny how Wayne is getting a really hard time and PipT got a load of chummy 'well done old bean' backslapping.
