Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Geneva - Avoriaz Transfers

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hey All,

A group of us are heading out to Avoriaz in Jan, and are looking for cost effective method of getting to and from Geneva airport.

Have looked at car hire, and it seems pretty expensive to hire a car big enough for 4 of us, plus fuel and parking in Avoriaz. Anybody got any suggestions for transfer companies?

Thanks
Ray

raymorgan901, You are probably looking at around 170 / 180 euro's for a private transfer to Avoriaz top station.
You can get cheaper by being dropped at Les Prodains cable car and going up it. Timing dependent.
You can get cheaper with some of the companies on a scheduled service , but that may mean waiting for the next bus in up to 1.5 hours time (depending on when you come into the arrivals hall).

A shared transfer can be cheaper with some companies, but again a waiting time for another flight may apply.
Times of flights can make the transfers difficult too. You will not always get a shared transfer very early or very late in the day.

I can do a private for you (as you are snowHead ) for 170 euro's per trip.
Send me an e-mail if interested to apexgroup@free.fr

Cheers

DallyPaul, Any ideas for the most cost efficient way of a return transfer Geneva to Les Crosets on 27 Dec 2009 returning 3 Jan 2010.Do you have contacts for a local firm that will do a resaonably priced transfer for 4.

I can recommend these guys - we paid for a shared transfer to Flaine last year and it ended up being private but didnt pay any more! The also do a SKI club discount if you are a member.

N.B. There promise that if you are sharing your total wait time (incl drop offs) is less than 1 hour.
