(btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Can anyone explain the World Cup scheduling to me? I'm confused! According to a schedule I checked therre is no race scheduled until 18th-20th Feb when the Super G takes place in Garmish, Germany. So how does the Bormio race that has just been postponed fit in?
I'm so cross to have missed Ski Sunday on Sunday because the TV paper (that we had) didn't schedule it. Why, oh why do I have to watch endless football/cricket/rugby matches but miss all the skiing????????

the bormio races are the qworkd chamionships, not the world cup - hecen the bbc can show the races from bormio, as chanel 4 only has rights to the workd cup

Ah ha! So that's why Ch 4 doesn't even mention Bormio. I'm a bit slow. But the coverage and explanation of the season's racing is pretty poor on both TV in general isn't it? I wish we had Sky!!
