Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Direct Eurostar Bookings to BSM for Winter 09/10

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Does anyone know when Eurostar will be starting to accept bookings for the direct London St Pancras to BSM service this winter? Has anyone received an email from Eurostar asking for pre registration details? I am sure that it was this time last year that they were starting to sell seats for the winter and I don't want to miss getting the tickets for the train I would like to get.

Gainz, I paid 120GBP last season with the SCGB discount. You have to ring them and speak to a real person though, no online booking if you want the discount.

codger, I believe the tickets go on sale on 7 July.

achilles, I found it perfectly comfortable and even managed to get some sleep. I can imagine it would be a different story if it hadn't been more than half empty though.

boardiac, because its not. I live in London - If I left my house at 10am got the train to Gatwick arriving at 10:45, checked in luggage 2hours before - flew at 1:45. Waiting for luggage/ hire car etc at other end =1hr, 2/ 3 transfer to resort = 7.5 hours.

OR train from St Pancras, have a nice dinner, settle down, wake up at 6:30 in France having not had to stay awake/ move luggage etc

 You know it makes sense.
You know it makes sense.
But isn't the train journey 7.5 hours before you add on getting to train station,
check in and transfers? Fair enough if you've easy access to St. Pancras and are heading to Les Arcs but anywhere else and it's a lot longer and generally more expensive than an easyJet (40 min check-in, up to 60 Geneva flights a day) hop to GVA (ok peak times fares, chances of delays, luggage allowances and carbon footprint arguments accepted...).
