Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Rossignol Ski's - Will Salomon Bindings fit?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi there! I am new here Smile Just wondering, do any bindings fit on any ski's? (assuming the brake is wide enough..). I have a pair of Rossignol S4 Squindo's and I need bindings for it. I can get a pair of Salomon STH12 for it for a decent price. Will these fit? (the brakes are definetly wide enough). Just wonderings as there may be paritcular setup instructions for ski/bindings.

Also does anyone know where I can get them fitted? I live in the south wales area so anywhere near there would be great. Although I can travel. Cheers.

Firetramp, Welcome to snowheads.

Any binding designed to be flat mounted (ie no rail) will fit the S4 providing the brake is the correct width. If you're on the big side/a charger/hucker/high DIN setting etc I'd caution against the STH12 as it contains a lot of plastic & the toe piece only has a 3 screw fixing - which is why they're cheap.

Any decent ski shop should be able to mount bindings with the usual cost being £25. You'll need to take a boot with you so the bindings can be correctly set.

Ok thanks alot. That shouldn't be a problem as my din setting is around 4.5-5 (I only weigh 10stone and im 6ft).. Do you think these bindings will be more than sufficient for my weight? Cheers.

Firetramp, they should be fine for your weight. BTW, you need to eat more pies wink
