Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Britain's top ski racers will cycle 81 miles for cancer support: your sponsorship needed

A team of 12 of Britain's top skiers will cycle the 81-mile Macmillan Cancer Support Etape Caledonia cycle challenge through Perthshire in Scotland this weekend ... and they need financial support.

Macmillan is a great charity. Having had my father die of cancer 18 months ago I know that Macmillan nurses provide magnificent support. The charity also gives great practical advice - if you ever need help in a desperate situation their information points are available in hospitals etc.

The team riding this weekend will comprise: Chemmy Alcott, Alain Baxter, Noel Baxter, Finlay Mickel, Andy Noble, Dave Ryding, Dougie Crawford, Jan Kochalski, Mark Lees, Mike Pilarski, Graham Bell, Andrew Musgrave, Alex Standen, Sarah Young.

The details of the event are here, along with an easy link to how to provide sponsorship:

Snowsport GB got around to mentioning this big event on their website two days ago - click here for much more info - better late than never!

I'm sure the participants and Macmillan Cancer Support would welcome any further sponsorship of any amounts: the revised target is only £2500.
