Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Early snow for New Zealand ski resorts

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Cold temperatures and light snowfalls on Tuesday night and Wednesday has delivered early snow to some of New Zealand's ski areas. Canterbury’s Mt Hutt received 20cm of snow, with some areas receiving over half a metre. The Remarkables and Coronet Peak both had 10cm of snow....See: http://www.nzski.com/

Don't git excited yet as most or all of this will melt in the next few days as ground temperatures are still quite high. Looking at Coronet Peak right now a lot has already gone but it is nice to have a little pre winter tease.

Sarge McSarge, when does the season usually start? As my sister will be out there in May and she might be keen to have a go, she's only a beginner so wouldn't need much snow!

Peter Ross, Coronet Peak is planning on opening 6th or 7th of june this year and that is only likely due to their extensive snow making. It is unlikely that any other resort will open before that. All the snow from last week has gone Sad
