Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Skiercross - getting a lot of publicity pre Games

I find it very watchable. The downhill is glamour event but is skiercross the one that's most likely to catch the interest of the non-skiers ??

Apart from some people of skates in skimpy outfits occassionally having funny falls.

Skicrossers (whats the collective noun for them??!!) are absolutely nuts - muchos respect to them!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Really - where?

I'm also keen on it as a discipline but I can't say I've seen anything about it apart from on here from time to time...

It is very easy to watch and find it enjoyable, actually seeing people compete against each other. Cool

It's one of the events we've got tickets to.

I'm *really* looking forward to it. Whackey Races on skis. If one of them can leviate by spinning a tail a laugh like Mutley, I'll be ready to go to heaven.

No one ever credited the IOC for being the quickest responding organisation that was most with the times. This decision was probably made 6 years ago doesn't make skiercross anymore current.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Helen Beaumont, Cool. I've got my fingers crossed she gets the selection. Apparently we have two very good ladies but they are only taking one to Vancouver.

alex_heney, frank4short, skicross was a demonstration sport at the WO 8 years ago if I'm not mistaken. I agree with frank4short, I think it's had its hayday eventhough I enjoy watching and doing it.
