Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Rossignol Scratch Sprayer BC

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Im after some new skis on a budget, im 6ft and 83kg and having searched high & low iv struggled to find any good skis, i like the look of these and they fit my price range but google doesnt bring a huge amount of infomation on them. I stay on piste, medium+ speeds but iv not got much experience with twin tips.

Does anyone have any experience with Rossignol Scratch Sprayers?

thanks guys Smile

edit; would the 170cm be a bit short or me, or would it be still be usable for someone who is 6ft?

IMO they're decent skis for slushy or bumpy piste at 25 mph; beyond that - meh.

In terms of the length, would 170 be suitable?

Andehh, 170 and factory binding mount would be suitable for bumps-smashing and spinning tricks, yes.

For piste or powder use, I would go 182 and 2 cm back.

For what it's worth I bought a pair of Rossignol Scratch Bling skis as a result of a previous discussion on snowHeads and the good price available online (although nothing like as cheap as the ebay pair you've found). I don't know how similar they are to the Scratch Sprayer BC but I've skied on them for half a month and have loved every minute. A lot of piste work (due to the friends I was with), some light powder, some deep powder, some bumps and larking around (switch, kickers etc.). Got them in a 170 (I'm 5ft 10 and about 78kg) with bindings mounted in the Standard position (rearmost). If the Sprayer BCs are anything like as good (and the ebay ad contains some of the same technical features as the Bling) then you'd be in for a treat, especially for that price.
