Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I'm wanting to do the Valle Blanche at some point over the next few days and was hoping some of you out there might know of some guides you personally know, or have used, and can recommend.
Any input gratefully received.
Thanks

I'm skiing with a UIAGM guide this week, and that collective noun would get my vote.

From personal experience, Jim Kerr (Les Houches). Also heard good things about Jonny Baird.

And no, I'm not Scottish!

www.chamonix-sport-aventure.com E mail franck.chapon@mac.com Franck Chapernon-Diernaz, top bloke with some great stories to tell, unselfish and a great attitude. We had three days with him last May and would definetly use him again. Would not recommend Sebastien Laurent (Mountain Guide Adventure), he is an absolute helmet.

Forgot to mention Franck Chapon has same priority access as the Compagnie des Guides for Grands Montets cable car etc 'cos he's been there that long which is always useful

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Thanks everybody.
Didn't use a private guide in the end as my skibuddy injured himself in the run up to our stay and we didn't feel we could do a guide justice given his hobbled condition.
Did ski the VB though (just used a group guide - more then slow enough for him to keep up rolling eyes ).
Will use your list of recomendations to line something up for Easter.
Cheers
