Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Yet another which ski question...

Hello all,

Am new on here; please be gentle with me! Very Happy I'm thinking about ski shopping in the sale - had assumed would wait to buy until more advanced (have skied three weeks and am happy with greens and blues; starting on reds) but the monstrous hire costs this year and the faffing around with hire have made me reconsider...

Skis I hired this year were K2 true luvs, which I liked a lot - am wondering whether to get some of those or go for one luvs instead? (Looking at K2 range as know I liked them this year and they seem to get good feedback, plus it narrows the options, but open to other ideas.) I want something that will be fine for me at current stage but will also allow me to progress - would be great if they could last me four or five weeks' worth of skiing to justify the outlay.) I can't find a retailer that stocks both these models so have a feeling I'd be pointed in the direction of whichever was available if I go to a shop, but would like some more impartial advice! Am neither fast nor aggressive - yet Smile - but am keen to progress as well as enjoying the easier pistes. Am 5' 6" and 135lbs.

thanks!
