Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I stayed there a few years ago but in Googling to check if that was where I'd stayed found this review:

http://www.holidaywatchdog.com/22977-Val_d_Isere-Bellevarde_Lodge-Holiday-Review-Full.html#revtext_27428

We found the chalet itself was nice but, although I don't recall the catering being as bad as described, it definitely wasn't great. If we'd paid full price I probably would have been a bit disappointed with the dinners.

Location-wise, it's a bit of a walk from the village. It's technically ski-in ski-out - it's on the Santons piste and easy to ski out but a bit of a pain to ski in so we mostly walked up the road from the village. From memory, there was a minibus that you could catch if it was there but some others in the chalet were a bit cross that you couldn't call a minibus to be picked up when you wanted to, like the ones provided by other higher end chalets in the village. Wasn't a problem for us (not having experienced that level of ferrying around) but might be for some people I guess.
