Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

In Desparate Need of New Skiis

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
First time "poster" or probably "poser" as compared to the experience and know-how of the users on this site.

Anyways, I definitley need an upgrade to the Skiis. Don't laugh but, I've been storming down the likes of Kirkwood/Vail/Blackcolmb on "old School" Volant parabolics (circa 2000) @195cm.

Grew-up in Meyers, CA (short jaunt from Kirkwood/Sierra (Ski Ranch - for the locals) and am now (given my years and growing family of 3-kids) relegated to mostly on piste (an occasional sidetrek to the trees) and still enjoy some bumps along the way. I'd like to get a deal on an end of the season ski package that might fit the need. Don't want to have to rob the bank to buy em' but, am looking for some quality skis (and boots). Don't mind a heavier ski if it's what's best. Where should I look for them after I've narrowed them down?

Muchas Gracias!!

Give the guys in the Kweed shop a shout at the end of the season & I'm sure they'll hook you up and you can probably rent a demo first. Porters up at Truckee also close out decent stuff cheap IME.
