Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Milky Way best resort April 4 - 11th

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hello fellow snow fans!
We are flying to Turin on April 4th but have yet to book accomodation as we can't decide which is the best resort to go to? Can you help us?
We are looking at the Milky Way as from what I have read there appears to be over 400km of piste. Our main priority is a large selection of pistes and good skiing as we will ski til we drop every day! Apres ski isn't overly important as long as we can get a casual bite to eat and a beer.

Also as it will be early April we are concious of snow cover so if some places have a better late season snow covering it would be good to know!
Any help really appreciated!

Thanks,
Dave

Would have thought Montgenevre would be the place.

Mitchell, I second that. Snow cover is likely to be at its best in this area of the Via Lattea. Doesn't have good apres-ski, but has a nice central bar.

An alternatve to the Milky Way is Serre Chevalier, France. It is another 20 mins down the road, with approximatly 250km of skiing. This is slightly lower down though.

Due to the brilliant snow that has fallen this year, I would think that the snow will be in abundance in April.
