Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski and Board Bag

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hiya,

I'm flying over to Whistler in a couple of weeks. Does any know or have bought a bag to carry both skis and a board. As I don't want to get violated by B.A for taking three bags. I know there is a Swix ski and board bag however I read a review that said there were no internal straps for ski's, which makes the bag pointless.

Another alternative would to take larger board bag with my gear in and a separate bag for my skis. Does anyone have any suggestions on an all purpose board bag.

Many thanks,
Luke

Just take a large board bag and wrap your skis in bubble wrap. If you also wedge the skis downs with clothes and gear the whole lot will be fine.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

a large board bag which will carry your board and skis and boots and some clothes (So they say). Its got wheels too to make it easy to drag around. I've not seen it in the flesh but it sounds like what you need. Its not ott on price either
I was considering this bag myself anyone else tried it???????
BA adverts say they will take your ski/board equipment at no extra charge.

mad_luca, I bought a large wheeled 'body' bag from Decathlon for £89, it might be in their sale now I don't know. Anyway it is enormous, it has internal straps and a padded divider too. Worth a look if you have a branch nearby. Oh and welcome to snowHead s.

Why? I have a Da Kine low roller & it does the job perfectly without internal straps.
