Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Off Piste St Anton/North face Valuga 2nd, 3rd or 4th of March

Hi,

If anyone is in St Anton and wishes to share a guide for 1 of these days please let me know. I'm a good skier my fiancee is a good snowboarder. I have skied the North face of the Valuga before and at the Marhc period the slopes should be safe with solid base and offer a brilliant trip down to Zurs and on into Lech.

Ok we have 3 now 2 skiers, one boarder. And will more than likely be driving from Zurich. flights are from Heathrwo at 6am and we return Zurich at 20.25 so will ski Sunday noon and all day Wed. Accomodation we are looking at either the youth hostel just before St Anton or up past Lech, it includes breakfast and I'm checking about dinner. If the group grows to 5 or so we may check for a self catered flat.

Any interest just post here or send a pm. There are plenty high mountain off piste routes around St Anton & Lech so at present with a 2-3 man group will aim for 1 day off-piste but if group grows could certainly push to 2, maybe 3.
