Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We went to Banff a few years ago with Inghams and took advantage of a special offer for car hire. Although others arriving by coach were all on the same Air Canada flight, we had checked in, showered, and were going out for dinner before the coach arrived.

As above but with the added interest of seeing first hand all UK transport infrastructure on the verge of collapse plus the entertainment factor of a Walsall bus driver slagging off all the 4x4, BMW & Merc drivers on the M40 & M25 for being pussies in the snow (OK so it added a few more hours)

have you thought about getting the train - we are going to Les Arcs 1950 on Sat with Crystal ski - train tales just over 7 hours then a 40min transfer - no weight restrictions etc - soo looking forward to the stress free train trip. Smile Smile

I'd be interested to see if you still say that after getting there and back...personally I think the train is the worst of all options

Coach is -452 points
Train is -287 points
Flight with transfer is -57 points
Flight with own car is -22 ponits
Driving yourself is 'f**k the carbon foot print and have an enjoyable holiday' and break even on points.

The worst transfer I have had, several times, is Andorra from Toulouse. It takes 4 hours including the 1 hour coach stop at the coach stop owned by the coach drivers, where you can buy a cheese roll for £5. They are much cheaper at Toulouse and Andorra.

Tip... rent a car or buy sandwiches at Toulouse and sleep it out with an iPod in your ears.

Actually, if there are 4 of you, just rent a car and get an extra day of skiing.
