Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Courchevel 1650 28 March?

Good idea? I had intended to go to Selva/St Anton or Mayrhofen but Total are doing Chalet board in what looks like an ok Chalet in 1650 for under £1600 (for 4, 2 big ones, 2 little ones) with Edinburgh flights. I assume 3V fine at this time of year but wondering if anyone could comment about sskiing into 1650 at that time of year. Usual "will there be snow" paranoia, I know.

There will be absolutely no problem. I am going to La Tania on the same day and plan to ski the entire region.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Me and the other half worked in 1650 for a season three years ago (A welcome relief after two mad ones in Andorra...!)

Courcheval/La Tania in my opinion has the best snow in all of the 3Valleys. We were enjoying great snow in mid-April when we left to head off for sunny climates. Merribel/Mottaret suffers more being more south facing, but if you're reasonably competent and do your home-work you can also get over to Val T in 4/5 lifts and about an hour (queue depending!) which also enjoys great snow!

Bubble-bar in 1650 is a winner for a nice pannini at lunch, or go down through trees into a La Tania for a burger at Le Ski Lodge washed down with a pint of Mutzig (Which is probably worth another thread all to itself...!)
