Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Women's Salomon Performa 7.0 boots - equivalent and/or historic info?

I need to claim on insurance for my wife's ski boots which I'm pretty sure were Salomon Performa 7.0

Can someone in the know suggest what the current equivalent would be? I have to admit to not keeping up with women's ski boot developments over the last 5 years or more Blush

Also, can anyone point me to any historic info on Salomon ski boots (Maybe on their website) so I can check that they actually are what I think they were. I reckon I'd know them instantly if I saw them.

Look at something which is about 2nd from bottom of the current Salomon range or maybe cheapest in S+R Catalogue.

"2nd from bottom of the current Salomon range" can be had for ~£80 in Decathlon but I seem to remember hers being quite good at the time. Not 'race' boots but quite performance oriented, not a beginners boot.

I got the Tecnica Rival X9 at the same time and thought they were aimed at roughly the same level.

Performa = Irony = this years Divine. Divine 7/8 probably about the same level.
