Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Helmet Hire Prices - France?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi, I am off to Morzine for half term (Yikes - ruddy school hols!!!) and I'm torn between buying a helmet here or hiring in resort - especially as the £ is so crap at the moment. Has anybody got any idea how much helmets are to hire in resort at the moment?

Cheers

It wouldn't be cost, so much as condition, I would be worried about.

Can't really help though, sorry

jazzhands - welcome to snowHeads.

I must admit that I don't think I've ever seen adult helmets for hire in Morzine.

Personally I agree with kermit that you wouldn't know the history of a hire helmet and I'd personally avoid.

20 euros for a weeks hire for a kids helmet is ridiculous too, I'm sure I paid less than £20 for my daughters.

jazzhands, Welcome to snowHead s
Usually when hiring skis for my son they always throw in a helmet free.

We hired skis in Val Thorens and when I asked about a helmet they threw in one for free.

Why not just buy a helmet here? Puzzled

It will be about £50 and will last you forever and be brand new.

Thanks for all the replies, will have to find somewhere to get hold of a couple of helmets this week. Left it rather late though I feel as not much stocks left around in my size.
