Was it near Box Hill? I went for a lovely walk there yesterday and wished I had my own skis...a chair lift would have been handy too! Would have been nice if the National Trust cafe could have opened up to serve some gluwein too!

snowymum, Yes on ranmore. Going for a ski later on Boxhill as all the sledgers have left a lovely hardpacked 500m run down the main slope.

norris, Ranmore has some seriously steep pitches, but mostly in the woods down towards Westcott.  Surrey Extreme skiing??
