Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

peteski, OMG, this is priceless; a night at the Comedy Club is a waste of money by comparison. Put piste jacket in luggage, if it matters and wear soft shell to travel. Or vice versa. Or wear both and increase, by small amount, luggage space. If wearing either or both to travel and it gets warm in airport, take one or both off and wrap sleeves around waist and wear in that fashion. If fashion requires an additional ski jacket in luggage as well (sorry I can think of no other reason to have two ski jackets even though skiing is sometimes a hot and sweaty activity but there is a thing called Febreze which can be taken or bought in even the tiniest Spar/Champion, etc.) then that is your choice and is fine. No insult to OP as it is a genuine query but I fear if she takes some of the suggestions on board (along with a ski jacket for every occasion) she will have many ski jackets but little or no room for such essentials as underwear. rolling eyes

Put everyone in a hercules transport, bring it in low and slow over the pistes and everyone jsut drops off - no terminal, no waiting for baggage, no soul destroying transfer Smile

if everybody looks like the Michelin man as they arrive wearing several sets of clothing simultaneously

When I went to La Thuile a few years ago, a woman got on the transfer coach and started to strip off........ She had been wearing pretty much all her clothes she needed for the trip on the flight (salopettes over jeans included). She had a very small case, and her hand luggage. I thought it strange, but after reading posts about lost luggage, I now see that I was in the presence of a genius...... (she was as mad as a box of frogs too though!)

I used to use my ski jacket for all coat-requiring activities throughout the year, although now I have two coats so the pressure is off a little.

I still have a pair of C&A Rodeo gloves! They have followed round for over 20 years and have pride of place the loft. I just can't bear to chuck 'em out although I hasten to add I have upgraded since... Very Happy
