Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The cheapest places to eat on the mountain in Les Arcs are the Energie 3000 mountain huts, with a seated area outside each one. They serve hot soups and large slices of pie (usually at least 4 varieties of pie) at 3.60 euros per slice - very good value if compared with mountain restaurants. If you take your own drinks you can mix & match! Inevitably, they are nicknamed by us Northerners "T'pie huts". There are 2 in the main 2000 bowl, one near the start of the Arcabulle lift, the other higher up just past the Plagnette chair. The 3rd one is on the 1800 side near the mid-station of Transarc bubble and top of Charmettoger lift.
When the weather is bad, I have even seen well-organised persons eating their packed lunches on the Varet and Transarc bubbles!
I think there is a picnic room in the large Arpette resto above 1800, though I have often seen folks eating their butties on the large terrace. Nobody seems to bother, it is so busy!
