Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

16th January 2010 is the date for the First Sno Age Ltd trip. We are 80% sure on the location at this point, we will have to secure it quickly and we need twenty five people to do this!

We have launched this group early- so that everyone can plan and can start saving accordingly.

WE have decided on Schladming at just over £500 (dependent on numbers) including transfers, ski pass and half board ( wine and beer during dinner is also included)

http://www.pension-hoffelner.at

Trip advisor review:

http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g658282-d624331-Reviews-Pension_Hoffelner-Ramsau_Styria.html

We will require a deposit of £100 per person to be paid by pretty quickly to secure, with the full amount required 8 weeks prior to departure.

As always you have a Yes No or Maybe option for this group. If you could be as genuine as possible in your response it would be appreciated.

A road trip may be an alternative to flights if a suitable vehicle is available and if your up to it?
This is an Adult only trip! ages range from 26 to 65 and all are great fun! if your mates dont board or ski then sign up, singles, couples or small groups.

snowtheway2go, I feel that it should be possible to discuss and organize membership and trip direct form this site - otherwise:

1. We have to join up with facebook - which I (and some others) do not want to do.
2. You seem to be using snowheads mainly as a means to pimp another site and 'club'. After all, the SCGB does not seek to attract sHs to join up and go on their holidays, here. Why should you?

i use and enjoy snowheads, i am about to take ski lessons so couldnt think of a better forum to use
i have attracted some members to sno-age ltd from here (pimp you call it) and other forums,

as for the devide between skiers/boarders,if i have my way i will break it down to a pulp
if snowheads could create a section for the club i would be more than happy to bring everyone to snowheads who wanted to.
not to keen on facebook myself so i am well up for your request

Think going to schladming Austria suits me and the wife, as we plan to go to Dolomites so spending a week in Austria is fine. There is a big area around Salzburg we haven't skied.

We plan to arrive at Austria on 16 Jan. So 50% for us for now. Need to check the rest of the trip before confirmation.

If I join we will drive from Amsterdam to Scladming in the first day and could possibly take 3 passengers in the forward journey. We might leave early for Dolomites to spend about 10 days there. Thus we can't help to people in the return journey. Schloadming seems to be handy for Cortina Ampezzo.

Been looking at Schladming. A week is not going to be enough for this area. Think a minimum of two weeks would be need just to explore it.

Am I right in thinking Schladming is linked between Haus/Ennstal, Schladming, Rohrmoos, Pichl and Gleiming? This leaves Pruggern, Forstau, Radstadt/Altenmarkt, Filzmoos and Ramsau Dachsein as small unlinked satellite areas .

The neighbouring SportWelt is also pretty substantial with separate areas of Flachau, FlachauWinkl/Zauchensee/Kleinarl, Wargrain/Alpendorf, Dienten, Goldegg. Is Flachau linked to Flachauwinkl? The Pararoma piste map isn't clear.

The last part of Ski Amade has Dorfgastein, Bad Hofgastein/Bad Gastein etc.

What is the snow like in this area in mid-January? Only been to Bad Hofgastein once in a day trip from Zell am See. It was Christmas/New year time. Part of Bad Hofgastein/Bad Gastein wasn't open due to lack of snow.

It was always in the back of my mind there is a big area around Salzburg I need to visit but the size and the number of resorts really surprise me.

we have changed the venue, mostly because of flights
here is some info on it,hope you like..........................................

16th January 2010 remains the date for the First Sno Age Ltd trip, there have been changes though!

We have launched this group early- so that everyone can plan and can start saving accordingly.

WE have decided that because of uncertainty regarding flights they are shooting up in price, it may be prudent to let Crystal take the strain.

i have worked tirelessly and there is now a contract out on me from Crystal but they have kicked back bottom on a deal.

The new resort is Kaprun http://en.kitzsteinhorn.at/
I was there last year in the next door hotel and its lovely with the biggest ski shop opposite! 7 minutes from the ski lift and a ten minute ski bus to the Kitzeinhorn Glacier.

The ski resort of Kaprun is part of the ‘Europa Sport Region’ which offers an extensive ski area. Set at the foot of the breathtaking Kitzsteinhorn Glacier, it offers an excellent range of pistes, including high altitude pistes with guaranteed snow. The views from the glacier at Kaprun are impressive with the lake, Zell am See and the highest mountain in Austria, all visible.

The 'Optimum' Sports Centre is the pride of the village, with its fantastic facilities. Combined with a wide variety of bars and restaurants, ski holidays in Kaprun have lots to offer - on and off the piste.

Après Ski for Ski Holidays in Kaprun
Plenty of action off-piste from lively bars and discos to the more quaint, rustic stubes. Try:· Pavillon · Kitch & Bitter · Winkler's Music Café · Paletti · Baum Bar · Kuhstall

Activities for Ski Holidays in Kaprun
· 'Optimum' Sports Centre with indoor pool and fitness studio · Indoor tennis and squash centre · Small ice skating rink · Sledging · Sleigh rides · Horse-drawn sleigh rides · Bowling

Eating out on Ski Holidays in Kaprun
Superb selection of over 25 restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets, from fondues to pizzas.
· Orgler · Dorfstadl · Schlemmerstube · Tauernhof · Mitteregger · Baum Bar · Hillbergers · Zuchinis · Kitsch & Bitter · Great pizzas from Paletti.

We have secured a lovely Hotel http://www.tauernhof-kaprun.at/index.asp?lang=en with all amenities in the centre of Kaprun including flights from Birmingham or Glasgow, transfers, ski pass and half board ,tea and cakes too, plus your boardbag carriage included.

Crystal have given us a super deal of £730 total for everything, you only pay for beer and mountain snacks thats it! beautiful four star luxury the lot! fabulous area, great local bars with live music, cocktail bars, main apres ski are 30 yards away.

For those who are not UK based 700 Euros HB with ski pass!

This trip is priced at over £900 in the Crystal brochure, this is still open to people who want to travel independently or are non UK just let us know!

This is an Adult only trip!
