Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Portes du Soleil / Grand Massif ideas

I'm organising a long weekend for 6 blokes (30s / 40s). Have been to Flaine and great access for skiing but limited nightlife. Looking for views on other resort in either PDS or Grand Massif which provide best balance of easy access skiing plus decent nightlife. Also any suggestions for decent self-catering accom welcome.

We have a chalet in the Grand Massif area and I love it but none of the villages are good for lively nightlife (which suits us fine).
My husband and brother used to go with groups friends to Morzine, apparently the nightlife is pretty good, obviously it's in a big linked ski area and I believe there's lots of accommodation options although I can't give you any suggestions but it should be easy enough to find something online.

I'd second Morzine for your kind of group. No shortage of accom choices, one suggestion below:

I organise one to Les Gets and we find nightlife fine for us but Morzine would probably be livelier, depends what you want.

reidb, For nightlife (as is an Austrian/Andorran/Italian) Morzine is the best of a poor selection. I love the area as any of the regulars will know as the skiing is excellent but France and "nightlife" do not usualy go together IMO!

Welcome to snowHead s .
