 Poster: A snowHead

Well I have been reading about a bit and at one point came across a lttle thing saying that you can't do proper snow carving techniques after a certain weight/size.
Can anyone confirm this? Or is it still possible but you damage the bristle?

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

I guess there is a point where the bristle does not stand up to the forces and releases the edge, but looking at the racers at National events and those in club sessions it must be extremely high. The bristles are constantly being damaged by the edges anyway, as is evident from the dust on your skis afterwards.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Spuddfluff, it's possible to carve on dendix - as beequin says the racers have always managed it
I understand it's much more difficult on snowflex or other carpet-like surfaces but I've never had the misfortune of skiing on it.

It certainly is possible to carve on dendix, as suggested above....a timely reminder of a morning I spent at Aldershot about 4 years ago. Report here.
