Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

halfhand,
Looked quite promising though, for a few mins! Watched it from near the top of the Liver building and got excited. But it all disappeared as quickly as it came. Bit off topic but then watched from the ferry the Ark Royal being bumped into mid-stream by three tugs and being towed down river by one of them. Tugs are my favourite ships/boats - the pride of the Navy having to be tugged off Smile and with a pilot boat astern. Was a fab sight. Shame about the snow snowHead

Aneira, When I was a kid over from NZ I took the wheel of the ferry across the Mersey. Sure there is a pic somewhere.

Scarpa,
I travel on the ferry each day to and from work and love it but I'm impressed that memory stayed with you; I was lucky enough to spend some time in NZ when daughter was working at TC and I can't imagine anything in the memory comparing to the beauty and majesty of the country (or at least the parts I saw.) But I suppose its kids and machines, one of my uncles was chief engineer on the local tugs and we used to get to visit the engine rooms and wheelhouses and I remember it all in detail. Love to see the pic!
