Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi everyone - I don't know if anyone can help...

I'm going to Poiana Brasov, Romania at the end of Feb. At the moment there hasn't been much snow and looking at webcams it looks very patchy.

I'm very worried! It's my first time snowboarding so just wanted somewhere basic, cheap and different to learn. Romania was ideal. I'm just worried that there won't be enough snow.

Has anyone ever been before? recently? know friends who have been? or going?

Does anyone know of any other sites?

It says that there is 30cm of snow on upper slope and 15cm lower. The most recent snowfall was on Christmas day where 10cm fell. What does all this mean? Is this reasonable amount of snow? Sorry if I sound thick, I'm just worried!

Six weeks till the end of Feb. It could put down a fair old dump of snow between now and then. Don't worry, it will be fine
