Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Female26 wanting ski buddy(S) April 12th for UCPA holiday

Hello!

I returned on Saturday from a fantastic holiday in Les2Alpes staying at the UCPA and am now a UCPA convert for life (or until they bar me at 40!).

I want to do another week in April (11/12th) staying in Tignes or the Chamonix valley.

UCPA are a not for profit French company who specialise sporting holidays for the 18-40's. The ski holidays are all inclusive (Accomodation, Food (which is FANTASTIC!), Lift pass, Ski/board+boot hire) and ridiculously cheap!

I made lots of friends last week, the centers are very friendly and had people to ski with everyday... but im still not brave enough to go on my own rolling eyes

So does any one fancy joining me Puzzled Puzzled Puzzled

well, mustdash, price would be super-cheap! £400-£520, just add transport, insurance and beer money on top! I'd be traveling form Manchester or Liverpool, also considering the coach from Victoria.

hum.....claireSki, that sounds like lots of fun. I would love to come but unfortunatly this year will be a bit busy, and the bank accound took a battering from a weeks skiing in les gets (non-UCPA!). Where are you based? I'm also a "straight female mature student, very addicited to skiing"!!. Doing my phd in brum at the moment and trying to get as much time to ski as possible snowHead

Are you still looking for a buddy for your trip? I'm also 26 not a great skiier but keen to improve! Came back from a UCPA hol in the New Year, so know the deal - where were you thinking of travelling to? I'd prob get the coach from London
