Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

male skier seeks group to travel with - January 24th - anywhere in europe

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi,

I'm a male skier looking to join a group departing around January 24th - preferably from a midlands airport. If you are organising a party and someone has (unfortunately) had to cancel let me know. Location = anywhere in Eurpoe with snow!

I've ski'd half a dozen times and am happy on blue and red runs, with the occasional black thrown in.

My normal ski partner is not able to ski this winter, hence the reason I'm looking to join a group - I'd rather ski and socialise with other people than be billy-no-mates!

I'm 42, married and am happy to share accomodation as necessary. HB, B & B or a catered chalet considered - not really into self catering. Need to keep the cost reasonable.

Thanks in adavce - any questions let me know.

Matt - I've got two groups of late 30s/early 40s coming out on the 25th and staying with us.......... I'm sure they'd make another person more than welcome and give you someone to ski with!!

mattandash, welcome to snowheads. There's a snowheads bash in Val di fassa the following week, the bashes are normally excellent fun for single skiiers as there's always a range of people on them and you'll inevtiably have people to ski (and drink) with

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I'll be in sauze d'oulx that week on my ace, so if you're in the vacinity you're welcome to ski with me. I'm 35 M and tend to stick to red and black with the occasional off piste thrown in for good measure.

I've some flexibility on the dates - i.e. can depart between 23rd January and 30th January and it doesn't have to be a full week.

Birmingham or East Midlands would be my first choice of airports but beggars can't be choosers.

We have a snowHeads Bash to celebrate the 5th birthday of the site starting on 31st Jan but that would appear to be a whisker outside your range snowHead
Bashes are ideal for solo skiers or, for that matter, when you've a friend or partner who doesn't ski to the same standard or prefers a different pace, as there's always company within the group for skiing/ resting/ drinking with as required.
