Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi, me again, I've had to change my plans to take my daughter for her first skiing trip, as (1) she contracted chickenpox on Christmas Day so couldn't fly out as was planned 2 days later, and (2) I broke my wrist at the end of the 3 days I managed to squeeze in over New Year in Morzine! Clearly, the Gods were conspiring, but I still had 3 excellent days and 4 fab nights with a great bunch of fellow snowheads Very Happy

The doc has told me that I should wait until the end of March before my next dose of the white stuff Sad , so I'm hoping to catch a week's boarding as Loan Wolf in the last week of March (offers anybody?), then a week with The Cub from either 4th April or 11th April (more offers anybody?)

I'll need childcare options for the second trip, if anybody knows of any.

wozza, ski teachers here work with a wrist in plaster after only a few days. Keep the plaster and go skiing! Very Happy
