Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Am off to Flaine on 24th (for anyone else going at that time, if you want to meet), anyone know of any free WiFi points in the Foret area?
Daughter no1 cant live without MSN and Bebo so this is more important than life or death. rolling eyes

Pierre and Vacance Residence de la Foret boasts wifi but I am not sure it is free access. Its next to the ski lifts - pop in and try it. The lounge area in from of reception is large with nice comfy seating.

Ta. I will try but I think it is not free. Usually its in bars and such. Buy a drink and get free WiFi.

The pub in the Galerie Marchande (the building with the shops on the upper level) had free wifi last year

richardb85, The Perdrix Noire, also I believe the tourist office has or did last year. The P & V Residence was free xmas week as they said they had not been told the cost yet.

A lot of the apartments have free wifi for residents, the perdrix does have wifi, though pretty sure it's not free going by how much they charge for their set menu....
